A major tributary draining from the Victory Mountains to the south side of Tucker Glacier. Named by the NZGSAE, 1957-58, to commemorate the heroism of United States forces in the battle of Pearl Harbour, in 1941. In certain lighting conditions the glacier has a curious glistening beauty caused mainly by the distribution of its crevassed zones.
