A re-entrant in the south side of King Edward VII Land at the north-eastern corner of the Ross Ice Shelf. Named by the US Antarctic Service Expedition, 1939-41, in honour of Lieutenant K Prestrud, leader of the Eastern Sledge Party of Amunsden's expedition, who first traversed this region in 1911.
