A peak about 800m high, at the northern extremity of a "peninsula" extending into the Ross Ice Shelf from the foothills of the Prince Olav Mountains between two (as yet unnamed) glaciers. Discovered and photographed by the Byrd AE, 1928-30, in November 1929 and named for Benjamin Roth, mechanic and US Army representative on that expedition.
