A sharply projecting point marking the south-western extremity of a plateau lying west of Campbell Glacier, in Victoria Land. First explore by the Northern Party, led by Campbell, of the BAE, 1910-13. So named, on 24 January 1912, because of the large and extensive sastrugi that impeded the progress of the party in approaching this point.
