A feature, 1479m high, one mile south-south-east of Tent Peak, on the slopes leading up to Mt Terror on Ross Island. The feature resembles that of a fossilized shark's tooth, and was always referred to as The Tooth during the field work carried out by the NZGSAE, 1958-59, who gave it this name.
