Narrative

A prominent peak, 1664m high, rising steeply on the east side of the Skelton Glacier, 12km west of Mount Cocks. Feature shown on: NZ AntTopo50-MH09

Named For

Surveyed and named in February 1957 by the New Zealand Party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (CTAE), 1956-58. Named because it resembles a tricouni, a saw-toothed nail used on the soles of alpine boots.
