Narrative

A descriptive name for a gully between the New Mountains and Terra Cotta Mountains on the southern side of the Ferrar Glacier. Named by the Western Journey Party, led by Taylor, of the BAE, 1910-13. All parties ascending the Ferrar Glacier have commented upon the incidence of high winds in this particular part of the glacier.
