This name originates from Poland. It is part of the Poland Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A ledge (c. 65 m a.s.l.) of Tertiary sandstone showing bivalve Chlamys impressions (hence the name). In Chopin Ridge above Mazurek Point, King George Island. Reference map-sheet 1:5,000 (Battke and Cisak 1988).
