This name originates from Poland. It is part of the Poland Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Hills basalt plugs about 200 m high, south-west of Arktowski Station, Admiralty Bay. named in honour of Prof. Dr Józef Jersak, geomorphologist, leader of the first wintering party (1977) at Arktowski Station.
