This name originates from Poland. It is part of the Poland Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Narrow, long peninsula, about 200 m high, bordered by vertical cliffs, in the south-east part of King George Island, between Sherratt Bay and Destruction Bay. Name derived from the neighbouring Cape Melville which forms the tip of the peninsula.
