This name originates from Poland. It is part of the Poland Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Rocky promontory built of basaltic plug with large Chinstrap Penguin rookery, half-way between South Spit and Winship Point, Barton Peninsula, Maxwell Bay. Named in honour of Professor Dr Wojciech Narebski, geochemist, who was working with igneous rock of King George Island.
