This name originates from Poland. It is part of the Poland Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Steep, picturesque buttresses built of lava, agglomerate and tuff of the extint Melville Peak volcano, above Sherratt Bay. Named in honour of Eng. Krzysztof Rolnicki, member of the Polish Antarctic Expeditions 1978/79 and 1980/81 to King George Island.
