Feature type: Valley (2g)
This name originates from Poland. It is part of the Poland Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
It was a glacier, outlet of Warszawa Icefield, in the upper part of Italia Valley, Ezcurra Inlet, Admiralty Bay area. Named in honour of Commodore Franciszek Wróbel, chief of marine operations of the Polish 1976/77 Antarctic Expedition. The glacier has then disappeared, leaving a small valley covered with dead ice drained by a creek. The name was thus changed to Wróbel Valley.
