This name originates from Poland. It is part of the Poland Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Prominent buttress about 100 m high, above Gazdzicki Sound, north-east of Melville Peak. Named in honour of Dr Ryszard Wrona, paleontologist, member of the Polish Antarctic Expedition 1980/81 to King George Island.
