Narrative

Steep-sided headland, 700 m, forming the N side of the entrance to Andvord Bay, on the W coast of Graham Land. Discovered by the BelgAE, 1897-99, and named after Prof. Edouard Van Beneden, president of the Belgica Commission and author of several of the zoological reports of the expedition.
