Small group of three rocks lying in Marguerite Bay, 1 mi S of Neny Island, off the W coast of Graham Land. Surveyed in 1947 by the FIDS and named by them for the USS Burton Island, icebreaker with USN Operation Windmill, which visited Marguerite Bay in 1948 and assisted in the relief of the RARE and FIDS parties on Stonington Island.
