The southernmost peak of the Rockefeller Mountains, on Edward VII Peninsula in Marie Byrd Land. Discovered on Jan. 27, 1929, by members of the ByrdAE on an exploratory flight over this area. Named for Raymond Butler, member of the USAS party which occupied the Rockefeller Mountains seismic station during November and December 1940.
