A prominent mountain, 2,485 m, located 6 mi NE of Mount Tararua in Monteath Hills, Victory Mountains. Mapped by USGS from surveys and USN air photos, 1960-64. Named by US-ACAN for Dwight F. Crowder, geologist at Hallett Station, summer 1964-65.
