Point 8.5 mi W of North Foreland and 2 mi S of Ridley Island, on the N coast of King George Island in the South Shetland Islands. This point has appeared on charts since about 1822. Probably named for its similarity to Round Point, which lies 12 mi to the W, by DI personnel on the Discovery II who charted the N coast of this island in 1937.
