Narrative

Mountain at the head of Barilari Bay between Lawrie and Weir Glaciers, on the W coast of Graham Land. Photographed by Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. in 1955-57, and mapped from these photos by the FIDS. Named by the UK-APC in 1959 for Felix Genecand (1874-1957), Swiss mountaineer who invented the Tricouni nail for climbing boots shortly before World War I.
