A high, mostly ice-covered ridge at the N side of Holt Glacier on Bear Peninsula, Walgreen Coast, in Marie Byrd Land. First mapped by USGS from air photos obtained by USN Operation HighJump in January 1947. Named by US-ACAN after Capt. E.W. Grimes, a member of the U.S. Army Aviation Detachment that provided Antarctic support during USN OpDFrz 1966.
