Broad bay, 20 mi long in a general N-S direction, lying between the northern portions of Adelaide Island and Arrowsmith Peninsula. Discovered and first charted by the FrAE, 1908-10, under Charcot, and named by him for the Dir. of the Hydrographic Service of the French Navy.
