Lake, 1.5 mi long, lying midway between Lagrelius Point and Cape Obelisk in the W part of James Ross Island. It drains by a small stream into the deep bay 4 mi S of Lagrelius Point. Discovered in 1945 by the FIDS, who so named it because it is obscured by surrounding highlands.
