Island just E of the East Arm of Horseshoe Harbor in Holme Bay, Mac. Robertson Land. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37. Rephotographed by USN Operation HighJump, 1946-47. So named by ANARE because of its humped appearance from ground level.
