Narrative

A mainly ice-covered promontory 15 mi long, extending generally eastward from the coast at the NW side of Stefansson Bay. First mapped by DI personnel on the William Scoresby in February, 1936. Remapped by Norwegian cartographers from aerial photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and called Breidhovde (Broad Knoll). First visited by an ANARE party in 1956, and renamed by ANCA for Phillip Law, who flew over and photographed this feature in February 1954.
