This name originates from United States of America. It is part of the United States Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Names that other countries have for this feature:
Narrow lake, 0.1 mi long, near the head of Hydrographers Cove, Fildes Peninsula, King George Island. The name is a translation of the Russian "Ozero Dlinnoye" (long lake) in a report by L.S. Govorukha and I.M. Simonov, 1973, following SovAE surveys on the island. Acceptance of the translated form in this instance avoids a duplication of the name Dlinnoye Lake in Schirmacher Hills.
