A peak (1,790 m) on the S side of McCann Glacier at its junction with Lillie Glacier, in the Bowers Mountains. Mapped by USGS from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. Named by US-ACAN for radioman Ronald Markinsenis, USN, of the South Pole Station winter party, 1965.
