This name originates from United States of America. It is part of the United States Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Peak (3,450 m) rising at the S side of the head of Ironside Glacier, 4 mi SSW of Mount Minto, in the Admiralty Mountains. Mapped by USGS from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-63. Named by US-ACAN for Lt. Cdr. Miron D. Meier, USNR, helicopter pilot with Squadron VX-6 during Operation Deep Freeze 1967 and 1968.
