A narrow ice shelf, c. 120 mi long, which fringes Sabrina Coast between Totten Glacier and Paulding Bay. Dalton Iceberg Tongue extends N from the E part of the shelf. The feature was partly delineated from aerial photographs taken by USN Operation HighJump, 1946-47; further photographed and mapped by ANARE and SovAE in 1958. Named by SovAE after Moscow University.
