Ice piedmont, 60 mi long in a NW-SE direction and 15 mi wide in its widest part, on the W coast of Alexander Island. Mapped from air photos taken by the RARE in 1947, by Searle of the FIDS in 1960. Named by the UK-APC for Wolfgang Mozart (1756-1791), Austrian composer.
