A narrow strait between Ongulkalven Island and Ongul Island in Lutzow-Holm Bay. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37. Surveyed by JARE, 1957-62, and named Nishino-seto (western strait) because of its location in the Flatvaer Islands.
