Feature type: Lookout
This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The highest point of the 600 m high northern wall of Mount Rubin in the southern Prince Charles Mountains. Photographed by ANARE in 1960. The feature was the site of a geodetic survey station during the ANARE Prince Charles Mountains survey in 1972. So named because the rough rock surface in the area ruined the mukluks of the geologist with the survey party.
