Island, 0.3 mi long, situated 0.1 mi off the SE side of East Ongul Island, in the E side of the entrance of Lutzow-Holm Bay. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and named Pollholmen (the bay island), presumably because of its location opposite the narrow inlet or bay separating Ongul and East Ongul Islands.
