This name originates from United States of America. It is part of the United States Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A conspicuous rock peak surmounting Taylor Ridge on the W side of Scott Glacier, 4 mi NE of Mount Pulitzer. Discovered and roughly mapped by the ByrdAE, 1928-30. Named by US-ACAN for Robert S. Sletten who made studies in satellite geodesy at McMurdo Station in 1965.
