A low, snow-covered point which marks the NE extremity of East Ongul Island in northeastern Lutzow-Holm Bay. Mapped from surveys and air photos by JARE, 1957-62. The name Tachimachi-misaki (Tatimati Point), meaning "stand and wait point," was given by JARE Headquarters in 1972.
