Narrative

A bay between Brindle Cliffs and Mount Guernsey in Marguerite Bay, Fallieres Coast. Surveyed by BGLE, 1936, FIDS, 1948-50, and photographed from the air by the U.S. Navy, 1966. Named by US-ACAN in 1977 for Capt. W.E. West, USCG, Commanding Officer, USCGC Glacier, USN Operation Deep Freeze, 1973 and 1974.
