This name originates from Italy. It is part of the Italy Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

Located at 55km E from the Stazione Baia Terra Nova on the East side of Mt Matz, in the Eisenhower Range, Prince Albert Mountains. It belongs to the Anderton Glacier basin in the Reeves Glacier system. It is a typical fed glacier on the E slope of Mt Matz. First seen on Dec. 1977. Named for the nearby feature Mt Matz.
