This name originates from Italy. It is part of the Italy Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Local glacier at a distance of 4 km at 243°(azimuth) from the summit of Mt Levick. Opened towards the Priestley Glacier valley, it is about 1.7km long. The name is related to the shape of the terminus of the glacier, rather narrow first, than enlarged in a conical/dome shaped front.
