This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A mountain peak 877 metres high in the North Masson Range of the Framnes Mountains approximately a kilometre south of Rumdoodle Peak and 20 kilometres south of Mawson station.

Named For

Descriptive as being south of the more prominent peak Rumdoodle. In Bowman"s book "The Ascent of Rumdoodle", the climbers originally climbed a wrong peak "North Doodle"
