This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The narrow rocky ridge of elevation 650 m extending 1 km in S-N d direction next N of Intuition Peak in Tangra Mountains, Livingston Island. Situated 1.9 km NNW of Helmet Peak, 6.3 km E of Kuzman Knoll and 4.7 km SE of Atanasoff Nunatak. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named after the Cherepish Monastery in the Iskar Gorge, Western Bulgaria.
