This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The glacier bounded by the E slopes of Oryahovo Heights, Livingston Island and draining eastwards into Hero Bay between Remetalk Point and Agüero Point. Extending 2.5 km in E-W direction, and 1.8 km in N-S direction. Named after the settlement of Medven in the eastern Balkan Mountains, Bulgaria.
