This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The snowfield on Livingston Island bounded by Teres Ridge to the W, the glacial divide between the Drake Passage and Bransfield Strait to the S, Gleaner Heights, Elhovo Gap and Leslie Hill to the SE, and Leslie Gap and Vidin Heights to the E. Extending 5 km inland, and 16 km in SW-NE direction. Draining into Hero Bay between Melta Point and Slab Point. Named after the Bulgarian town of Saedinenie ('Reunification'), in association with the 120th anniversary of the reunification of the Principality of Bulgaria and the province of Eastern Rumelia in 1885.
