This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The 4.8 km long and 1.5 km wide glacier on eastern Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands bounded by Melnik Ridge to the N, Yankov Gap to the W and Bowles Ridge to the S. Flowing eastwards into Moon Bay S of Sindel Point and N of Elemag Point. Bulgarian topographic survey in 2004/05 and mapping in 2005 and 2009. Named after the Struma River in Bulgaria.
