This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ridge of elevation 330 m extending 1.5 km in S-N direction near Siddons Point on the Hero Bay coast of Livingston Island. Its summit is situated 2.5 km SE of Siddons Point, 10.2 km WNW of Hemus Peak, 9.6 km NW of Rezen Knoll and 9 km N of Sinemorets Hill. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named after the Thracian King Teres, 480-440 BC.
