The 520 m wide cove indenting for 690 m the NW coast of Ray Promontory on Byers Peninsula, Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Entered between Isbul Point to the E and Start Point to the W. British mapping in 1968, Spanish in 1992. and Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009. Named after the town of Belene in Northern Bulgaria.
