This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-free heights on Ray Promontory, Byers Peninsula, Livingston Island. Extending 6 km southeastwards from Essex Point and Start Point, and 2.6 km wide. Rising to 265 m (Start Hill). British mapping in 1968 and Spanish mapping in 1993. Named after the settlement of Dospey in Rila Mountain, Southwestern Bulgaria.
