This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The sharp, low point forming the SE extremity of Rugged Island off the W coast of Byers Peninsula, Livingston Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 4.5 km E of Benson Point, 1.05 km SW of Vund Point, and 2.62 km W of Laager Point, Livingston Island. British mapping in 1968, Spanish in 1992, and Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009. Named after the Bulgarian historiographer, writer and diplomat Simeon Radev (1879-1967).
