This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The point on the SW coast of Greenwich Island situated 3.6 km SE of Kerseblept Nunatak, 2.2 km SSW of Lloyd Hill, 2.8 km SW of Tile Ridge, and 2.1 km WNW of Hebrizelm Hill. Shape enhanced by recent glacier retreat E of the point. Bulgarian topographic survey Tangra 2004/05. Named after the famous Bulgarian writer Yordan Yovkov (1880-1937).
