El nombre fue dado por personal científico del Instituto Antártico Chileno durante la Expedición Antártica Chilena de 1990-1991 y corresponde al nombre que recibía el jefe guerrero de los mapuches. Cerro que se ubica al E del cerro El Jardín y al NW del cerro Chonos, costa occidental del cabo Shirreff de la isla Livingston, islas Shetland del Sur.
