This name originates from United Kingdom. It is part of the Gazetteer of the British Antarctic Territory and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Prominent vertical cliff-faced spur which forms the east-pointing SE corner of Patalamon Mesa, James Ross Island, W of Hidden Lake and rising to c. 650 m a.s.l. Named after a locality close to the base of the spur from which fossil asterozoan impressions are situated. It is the only known occurrence of those fossils on the island and it is a highly unusual fossil type in Antarctica.
